One of our favourite ages to photograph are between 6-12 months old. At this age babies are able to sit unaided or with little support. Their personalities begin to shine, lots of smiles, giggles and laughter!
Sparkling eyes and cheeky smile!... Sitter/Milestone sessions are a great way to
celebrate your baby learning to sit up on his/her own, so after your newborn session....this would be the next photoshoot before a Cake Smash at 12 months old.
All baby's develop at a different paces, This is the age where you really start to see their personalities shine through, with lots of smiles and giggles.
With this type of session....they are short and sweet (usually around 30 minutes at the most). We do beautiful close up head shots (which always look awesome in B&W), baby showing off their new sitting skills and holding their own! Baby on their backs playing with their toes, rolling over and then tummy time and sometimes crawling too!!!
We do have a selection of outfits for this age group, which we will discuss with you before the session, but you are also welcome to bring your own, we can even do a mix of clothing. Here at From Lizzy With Love Photography, we adore all white and timeless sessions, they can be put on a wall in your home, in any room, as you really can't go wrong with white.
We also encourage you to bring any special teddys/toys and we try and incorporate these too as if they are special, then we want to include them too.
When your baby is around 4-6 months, we can also do a "Milk Bath Session" This is where we safely place your baby in a little paddling pool at the studio with flowers or leaves and make the water white...this is using a liquid which is safe for babies. They love this so much!
