Newborn Sessions
At Lizzy With Love Photography, I understand the importance of capturing the beauty of your newborn baby. I am a parent of 3 children myself and I take pride in treating each session with the utmost care and love. I undergo yearly training courses to ensure that I produce the best images possible while maintaining the highest safety standards. Trust me to capture the precious moments of your little one's early days.
Newborn Sessions- Ideal for babies 6 days to 3 months
To book your session, there is a deposit of £49 for both collections. The remaining amount is then due on the day of the actual chosen session date (or earlier) before any editing will be completed.
The Mini Collection will be studio time of around 1 hour (£49 deposit to book, then £250 on the day)
The Full Collection will be studio time of around 3 - 4 hours (£49 deposit to book, then £450 on the day)

When do I book?
Great to hear that you're interested in booking a newborn session with us! We understand that babies can be unpredictable, so we usually provisionally book the session around a week after your due date and stay in touch. We only book a certain amount of newborns in a month to ensure we can fit everyone in. Don't worry if your baby is late or early, we'll work with to find a suitable time for the session.
Great news! I can photograph newborns up to 3 months old, although it's ideal to schedule the session between 4-14 days after birth. The earlier we photograph the baby, the higher the chance of getting those adorable curled up poses. However, awake images can be just as special as sleepy ones, so I'll make sure to capture both.
A non-refundable deposit of £49 is required to book, which will be deducted from your chosen package on the session date. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours before your session, you will lose your deposit and another deposit of £49 will be required to re-book.
What to wear?
If it's the mini collection session, then its just baby, I supply all the outfits, wraps etc.
I recommend prebooking the full collection session to ensure you get the family and sibling photos you want. For outfits, plain and simple colours like black, grey, and jeans work best. We can discuss further outfit options after you book. Just keep in mind that the studio can get hot during the session, so layering is a good idea.
How long does the session take?
For the mini collection, I allow up to 1 hour. These sessions are usually baby wrapped, with minimal posing.
For the full collection, I allow between 3-4 hours with siblings and parents. If you are bringing other young siblings, it may be best you have someone pick them up after their bit is done as little ones can get very bored in the studio environment. Or, make sure you bring toys or a tablet for them to watch.
I can provide water and biscuits, but if you want something more substantial, feel free to bring your own.
After the session....
So when your session is complete, I take the images and back them up on 2 separate hard drives. I then choose the best images from the session, edit & enhance them, each one at a time. I will make them extra special! I do edit out dry skin, lumps, bumps and spots! So each edit can take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. This is very important to me as I strive for perfection for all my clients.
You will then receive your online gallery with watermarks on. You will then choose your favourite 5 images for the mini collection, or you get ALL digital images with the full collection. You will then be able to download straight from the gallery. I do offer professional prints, you can order prints directly from the gallery. Also I have stunning pieces of Wall Art for you to order, It may be worth you having a think of where you would like to put some Wall Art in your home and possibly measure up. You can even take of photo of the room so I can help decide what would look awesome in that spot.
I will do a "sneak peek" on my professional Facebook & Instagram page so you can see an image before waiting for your gallery to be sent over. Obviously I will ask for your permission first.
Your images will be ready to view in around a week after your session.
